China: coal mine project agreed to by the top economic planner

A project of coal mine construction located in the city of Yulin, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has been accepted by the country's top economic planner.

According to a declaration on the National Development and Reform Commission's website, the investment of the mentioned project amounted about USD965.36 million.

About USD29 million, or about 30 percent of the overall investment will be offered by Shaanxi Energy Zhaoshipan Coal and Electricity Co., the coal owner. The rest capital will be given from bank loans.

According to the statement, an amount of 6 million tonnes of coal yearly is supposed to be produced by the project as soon as it gets built.
