(MENAFN- The Peninsula) H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and H E Ben Wallace, British Minister of Defense, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Joint Squadron Command Building No. (12), which is based in the Coningsby base in the United Kingdom. The opening ceremony included military parades in addition to a joint sortie on typhoon planes.
The opening ceremony was attended by Qatar's ambassador to UK, Yousef bin Ali Al-Khater, Colonel Ali Muhammad Al-Fadala, the Qatari military attache to UK, and a number of senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces. After the opening ceremony, the Ministers held a meeting, where they discusses a number of military issues of mutual interest, ways of enhancing them and developing them, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
