Car-lorry collisioneaves three dead in United Kingdom


(MENAFN) Based on local media reports issued Tuesday, a passenger carrier crashed into a van near Oxford, England, leaving three kids and a woman at her 29, belonging to the same family, dead.


The Sky News reported that the ill-fated children, including two girls, aged four and eight, and a six-year-old boy have been reported dead on the spot.


The agency's report also revealed that wo other passengers in the same car, a 30-year-old man and an 18-month-old girl, have been taken to hospital and remain in a critical condition. The lorry driver, a 56-year-old man, suffered minor injuries, according to the report.

Senior investigating officer Sergeant Dominic Mahon described the accident as an "absolute tragedy".
