550 tons of non-oil goods shipped via Iran's Sirik Port to Oman


(MENAFN) The Sirik County Governor reported that the fifth non-oil freight was shipped by Iran to Oman via Sirik Port in southern Hormozgan Province.

More News Agency announced that Ahmad Jamaleddini set the weight of the aforementioned cargo at 550 tons priced at 64 billion rials (some USD 1,523 million), comprising fruits and vegetables, mineral water, paving stones, nuts, canned food, beans, and straw exported by three vessels.

On June 2, according to Jamaleddini, the first non-oil cargo with a capacity of 120 tons, including mineral water and nuts, was dispatched to Oman.

Earlier on January, Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) held the first conference of its Commodity-Country Desk on trade with Oman presided by Farzad Piltan, the director-general of TPO's Office of Arabian and African Countries.
