Morocco confirms 42 COVID-19 fatalities, 3,443 cases Sat.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 42 coronavirus-related deaths and staggering 3,443 new infections in 24 hours.
The new figures pushed overall infections and death toll up to 149,841 and 2,572 respectively, the ministry added in its daily statement.
In return, the number of recoveries rose by 1,832 to 124,854, registering a percent of 83.3, it noted.
It also pointed out that there are 22,415 active cases, including 445 critical ones. (end)
