Kuwait- KWT Health Ministry: 635 New COVID-19 cases, 7 deaths


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwaitآ's Health Ministry recorded 635 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hours, summing up the total to 110,076 in addition to seven deaths (649 to-date).
The Ministryآ's Spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said to KUNA that the cases are dispensed accordingly; 159 in Al-Ahmadi, 148 in HawallY, 114 in Al-Farwaniya, 112 in the Health capital and 102 in Al-Jahra.
He also pointed out, 125 are currently receiving treatment in the ER, as the total number of patients hospitalized is 7,403.
In the last 24-hours, 3,922 test have been administered to total 776,733 samples taken for lab testing.
Al-Sanad called on citizens and expatriates to take necessary precautionary measures to prevent any more spread of the virus in addition to social distancing, as the official media of governmental ministries will be putting out advice on this regard.
The Health Ministry revealed earlier 710 patients have recovered in the last 24-hours, to total 102,024 patients recovered to-date from the virus. (end)
