Kuwait- Lawmakers withdraw non-cooperation motion against HH PM - speaker


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 7 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim has lifted voting on a non-cooperation motion against His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, submitted by 10 lawmakers, after they requested its withdrawal.
Al-Ghanim told lawmakers he received the withdrawal request on September 30 for the motion submitted a week before, discarding the need for a vote on the document.
It came after the parliament had completed two combined grilling motions directed at the prime minister, delivered by Abdulkarim Al-Kanderi and Al-Humaidi Al-Subai.
The later non-cooperation motion was submitted by lawmakers, Mohammad Hayef, Thamer Al-Suwait, Mohammad Al-Mutair, Abdulkarim Al-Kanderi, Abdullah Fahad, Hamdan Al-Azmi, Nayef Al-Mirdas, Al-Humaidi Al-Subaie, Reyadh Al-Adsani and Bader Al-Mulla. (end)
