(MENAFN- The Peninsula) London: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met yesterday with British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs H E Dominic Raab, during his current visit to the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral cooperation, mainly in the field of investment and economy, as well as the latest developments in the region and issues of mutual concern.
The ministers also discussed the need to reach a just solution to the Palestinian cause based on the international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution in order to ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
