(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, October 5, 2020, SPA -- General Bureau for Auditing participated virtually yesterday in the 21st meeting of the committee of undersecretaries of auditing and accounting offices in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States.
The meeting discussed a number of subjects on its agenda that aim to promote cooperation and exchange of expertise in the audit field including following-up the decisions taken during the 16th meeting of the GCC heads of Auditing and Accounting Bureaus that was held in Oman in 2019, and sharing the experiences of Bureaus in comprehensive auditing. The meeting, also, discussed the importance of knowledge sharing and raising awareness of the audit of sustainable development goals, which can be achieved by organizing seminars and workshops remotely. The meeting agreed that this method is the best method in knowledge sharing and exchange of expertise between auditors especially during COVID-19 pandemic.
