Jordan- Water minister meets with outgoing Japanese ambassador


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sep. 28 (Petra) -- Minister of Water and Irrigation Ra'ed Abu Sa'ud on Monday met with Japanese Ambassador in Amman Hidenao Yanagi whose tenure has come to an end and thanked him for Japan's continued support to Jordan's water sector.
The minister highlighted a number of water projects aimed at securing new and additional water sources and measures taken during the coronavirus crisis to address demand and supply. Abu Sa'ud also spoke about plans in place to tackle water scarcity and improve water and sanitation services.
The ambassador stressed Jordanian-Japanese ties and said bilateral cooperation will continues to serve the best interests of both nations.
