2021 national budget revealed in Zambia

The finance minister of Zambia announced on Friday the 2021 budget of the country that is aimed at stimulating economic recovery in the middle of the coronavirus outbreak.

Bwalya Ng'andu, the official, said that "the budget also enhances our social protection response programs to prevent the worsening of poverty levels despite constrained fiscal conditions".

Under the budget, the government suggest that it is going to spend 119.6 billion Zambian Kwacha, which his equal to to 32.6 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP).

Of this amount, 68.0 billion Kwacha is going to be from domestic revenues and grants as the 51.6 billion Kwacha is going to come from financing.
