China starts novel satellite to observe ocean environment


(MENAFN) On Monday September 21 China sent a new ocean-observing satellite into orbit as of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The launch center stated that A Long March-4B rocket moving the Haiyang-2C (HY-2C) satellite departure at 1:40 p.m. (Beijing Time).

The country's third ocean dynamic environment satellite, the HY-2C, will shape a network with the preceding HY-2B and following HY-2D to complete high-precision marine environment observing.

On September 21's start was the 347th by the Long March rocket sequence.
