Morocco reports 35 new COVID-19 deaths, 1,927 infections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- The Health Ministry of Morocco confirmed Sunday 35 new coronavirus fatalities, taking the country's victims toll up to 1,830.
In a press statement, the ministry also recorded that 1,927 people were diagnosed with the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. This raises the total number of infections in the North African nation up to 101,743 since the pandemic outbreak, it said.
It added that 1,724 COVID-19 patients recovered today, increasing the number of recoveries to 80,732. (end)
