3.7 percent expansion in natural gas production in China

Official data showed that the natural gas production in China reported a slower expansion in the earlier month.

The natural gas production increased 3.7 percent since a year ago to set at 14.2 billion cubic meters in the earlier month, slowing down from the 4.8 percent expansion reported in July, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed.

The average daily output stood at 460 million cubic meters.

In the starting eight months of the year, the natural gas output of China increased 8.8 percent since a year ago to set at 122.5 billion cubic meters.
