Morocco reports 41 new COVID-19 deaths, 2,760 infections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- The Health Ministry of Morocco confirmed Friday 41 new coronavirus fatalities, taking the country's victims toll up to 1,755.
In a press statement, the ministry also recorded that 2,760 people were diagnosed with the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. This raises the total number of infections in the North African nation up to 97,264 since the pandemic outbreak, it said.
It added that 1,760 COVID-19 patients recovered today, increasing the number of recoveries to 76,690. (end)
