(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CARIO, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Egypt has reported 19 new coronavirus fatalities, raising the death toll up to 5,715, the Ministry of Health announced Thursday.
Moreover, 141 people were diagnosed with the deadly disease in the past 24 hours, pushing the toll up to 101,641, the ministry's spokesman Khaled Megahed said in his daily coronavirus press update.
Megahed stated that 609 COVID-19 patients recovered today, increasing the number of recoveries to 87,158. (end)
