Kazakhstan reports 15 percent increase in agricultural exports to China in H1

Kazakhstan agricultural ministry said that the agricultural exports to China came in at 489,000 tons, or what is equal to USD196 million in the starting half of the year, rising 15 percent since a year ago.

The ministry said that 274,000 tons of crop goods along with 2,000 tons of livestock goods have been exported to China in the period, rising 11 percent and 25 percent respectively.

A total of 576 Kazakh companies obtained permissions to export their agricultural goods to China, out of which 90 companies exported livestock goods and 486 export crop goods.

The government said it is going to raise its output and export of agricultural goods in the recent years, in the starting 8 months of the current year, the agricultural production of the company came in at 2.4 trillion tenge (USD5.66 billion), rising 4.9 percent since a year ago.
