The Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released data on Thursday saying that the property development investment in the country has expanded 1.9 percent in the starting half of the current year 2020 in comparison to a year earlier, as it posted a drop of 7.7 percent in the starting quarter of the year.
According to the NBS, the total property investment in the cited period came in at USD898 billion.
The residential buildings investment stood at USD660 billion, reporting an expansion of 2.6 percent compared to the same period a year ago.
Commercial housing sales in terms of floor area came in at a total of 694.04 million square meters in the cited period, representing a decline of 8.4 percent compared the earlier year, commercial housing sales declined 5.4 percent value wise since the previous year to set at USD960 billion in the cited period.
