Morocco adds 1,750 more coronavirus cases

The health ministry of Morocco said that 1,750 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus, which has increased the total number of coronavirus cases across the country to 68,605 on Friday.

Mouad Mrabet, coordinator of the Moroccan Center for Public Health Operations at the ministry, said that 1,260 more patients have recovered from the disease, pushing the total number of recovered cases to 52,483, as the total number of deaths stood at 1,292 following the additional death of 39 patients.

The coronavirus fatality rate in Morocco is now at 1.9 percent as the recovery rate is at 76.5 percent, as 180 patients are currently placed in intensive care units.

China has been aiding Morocco in its fight against the coronavirus.
