Eighty-six more patients succumb to COVID-19 in Indonesia


(MENAFN) Achmad Yurianto, an Indonesia health ministry official, said during a press conference on Sunday that 2,037 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus across the country, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections across Indonesia to 153,535 as 86 additional patients have died due to the disease, increasing the death toll to 6,680.

The official added that 2,302 more patients have recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals, raising the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 107,500.

The virus has spread to all of the 34 provinces across Indonesia, however, the recent cases were recorded in five provinces including Jakarta with 615 new cases, East Java 279, Central Java 188, South Kalimantan 81 and East Kalimantan 80.
