(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, August 19 (Petra)-Governor of Aqaba, Muhammad Rafaiah, announced on Wednesday that the first Covid-19 infection has been recorded in the port city involving a customs employee.
In a media statement to "Petra," he said the employee caught the disease after he contacted his infected sister in the capital Amman.

Preventive measures have been taken by investigation teams, as his working site was sterilized, in addition to collecting swabs from his co-workers, he pointed out.
