Uzbekistan to advance defense of human trafficking victims


(MENAFN) On Tuesday August 18 the country's Justice Ministry stated that Shavkat Mirziyoyev Uzbekistan's President has marked a law to reinforce the defense of victims of human trafficking and boost social treatment.

The ministry stated that the new law assists protect the rights of people who have dropped into the hands of human traffickers, and guarantee their social reintegration, education and vocational training.

It as well reminded that the victims will be presented with financial support, provisional housing, food, sanitation and other supplies.

The new law stated that, personal information concerning the victims, in addition to information on the security procedures taken to defend them will stay confidential.
