The health ministry of Chile said on Monday that 62 more patients have died due to coronavirus in the earlier 24 hours, which has pushed the total number of deaths in the country to 10,139.
The daily report released by the ministry said that 1,988 more patients were diagnosed with the disease in the same period, which has increased the total number of coronavirus cases across Chile to 375,044.
There are now 1,280 patients receiving treatments in hospitals in intensive care units as 203 of them are in critical condition.
The country is still under a state of emergency, and its borders remain shut down for now.
