Qatar- Eid inspections


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality's health control section conducted a number of food inspection tours at commercial centres there during the Eid al-Adha holidays to ensure 
compliance with Law No 8 of 1990 regarding human food control. Meanwhile, veterinarians there inspected the slaughter of 1,395 heads of livestock, with 15 carcasses being destroyed as they were found unfit for human consumption, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment said. In addition, the veterinarians inspected 215,500kg of fish at the local 
market and Al Khor fishing harbour, and about 800kg of these were destroyed for being unfit for human consumption.
