426 more people confirmed as positive COVID-19 cases in Palestine


(MENAFN) The combined figure of patients who have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Palestine has amounted to 18,374, as 426 more cases were reported over the past 24 hours ending on Saturday in the West Bank, the country"s Health Ministry revealed in a statement.

Based on a confirmation made by the Health Minister Mai al-Kaila, six patients have succumbed to the most infectious disease, with the national death toll reaching 103 during the past period.

Among the latest cases were 220 registered in the district of East Jerusalem and 206 in the West Bank, according to the ministry.

It further included here are 8,232 active cases, including 10 in intensive care units, it noted.
