(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA, LUMPUR, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- The Singaporean Health Ministry, Sunday, recorded 175 new COVID-19 cases, raising to 55,104 the total number of confirmed cases.
The death toll due to the virus stood at 27 deaths, the ministry said in a press release.
The new cases of infection were of foreign workers residing in shared housing, three cases coming from abroad, and all were subjected to home quarantine, said ministry's statement. (end)
