The Syrian health ministry said that 65 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country on Saturday, which has increased the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 1,125.
The ministry said that 330 coronavirus cases were reported in the country in one week compared to only 84 cases a week earlier.
China has offered support to Syria in its fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
China sent Syria the first medical supplies batch on the 15th of April, with 2,016 coronavirus test kits, two more medical supplies were sent on the 4th and the 24th of June.
