Kuwait- Austria, Poland, Slovakia record new positive cases of COVID-19


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- Austria on Sunday recorded 114 new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), while Poland recorded 624 positive cases and seven deaths, whereas Slovakia recorded 30 cases and Hungary recorded 43 cases in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total infection cases to 21,978 and total death cases to 721 in Austria, while Poland total infection cases rose to 51,791 and total death cases to 1,807.
In addition to Slovakia's total infection cases, which increased to 2,596 cases while death toll cases to 31. Hungary, meanwhile, reported total infection cases increasing to 4696 cases and death cases to 602.
The Austrian Ministry of Health said in a statement that more than 961,000 swaps have been conducted, while 19,923 people have recovered from the virus so far, whereas polish authorities announced more than two million swaps were conducted and, 36,691 people recovered from the virus.
Slovakian health authorities announced that they have conducted more than 277 swaps to determine the virus, while Hungarian authorities announced 360,000 swaps and 3499 people have recovered from the virus. (end)
