Singapore adds 242new COVID-19 infections


(MENAFN) The health ministry of Singapore said that 242 more coronavirus infections were reported in the country on Saturday, increasing the total number of COVID-19 infections across the nation to 54,797.

99 patients out of the newly diagnosed cases are linked to already known clusters, as the remaining have waiting for contact tracing.

According to the ministry, around 124 more patients have been successfully treated from the disease and were discharged from hospitals and quarantine centers upon recovery, a total of 48,312 coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease so far.

There are 281 coronavirus infections currently receiving treatments in hospitals, most of them are stable or showing improvements, as none of them is in critical condition.
