(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GENEVA, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- Switzerland suffered 161 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) during past 24 hours.
The local health department said in a statement Friday tally of contaminations with the globally spread germ reached 36,269.
It also reported three new mortalities due to infection with the contagion, raising total of fatalities to 1,712. (end)
