(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 5 (Petra) -- Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh expressed condolences, on behalf of the Jordanian government, over the victims of the Beirut port explosion on Tuesday, which claimed dozens of lives and injured thousands.
In a phone call on Wednesday with the Lebanese Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad, Adaileh underlined the Kingdom's solidarity with the Lebanese people during this tragedy, expressing sympathies over the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Abdel Samad commended Jordan's supportive positions of Lebanon during all circumstances, thanking His Majesty King Abdullah II for dispatching a field military hospital to Beirut to provide medical and treatment services to the injured to alleviate the burdens on the Lebanese medical institutions.
