(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 31 (KUNA) -- The US recorded over 67,000 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours as Brazilآ's new cases topped 57,000.
The US recorded 67,619 new coronavirus cases and 1,233آ reported deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed coronavirus cases in the US now stands atآ 4,494,601 and at leastآ 152,055آ deaths.
Meanwhile, Brazil's health ministry reported 57,837 new coronavirus in the past 24 hours and 1,129 deaths, bringing the country's confirmed cases to 2,610,102 and 91,263 deaths.
The US and Brazil rank first and second globally in the number of confirmed cases and deaths. (end)
