129 coronavirus infections, two deaths confirmed in Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) آ آ BEIRUT, July 30 (KUNA) -- Lebanon reported on Thursday 129 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and two deaths as a result of the virus in the past 24 hours.
آ آ In its daily report, the ministry said that the figures took the total infections and mortalities to 4,331 and 57 respectively.
آ آ Up to 1,753 patients recovered from the pandemic and the total tests hit 7,112 in the same day, it added.
The Lebanese government decided to shut down some sectors again as of July 30 and until August 10.
آ آ It compelled those coming from countries witnessing increasing coronavirus cases to undergo PCR tests and subject to isolation at hotels determined by the ministry of tourism until the results are announced. (end)
