Ukraine- Razumkov visits Maiorske checkpoint in Donetsk region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov has visited the Maiorske checkpoint in the Donetsk region, talked to residents of frontline villages and met with the command of the Joint Forces Operation, according to the website of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

"During his working trip to the Donetsk region, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with the command of the Joint Forces Operation, representatives of law enforcement agencies, visited the Maiorske entry and exit checkpoint and talked to residents of frontline villages," the report reads.

Razumkov said this was not the first time he has visited this checkpoint in the east of the country.

"Last time we had an opportunity to communicate with people who are still forced to use the services of checkpoints, but we hope that when the incidence of COVID-19 falls, when there is a complete truce and no shots are fired, these checkpoints will operate in full," he said.









































































Razumkov said that the state would do everything possible to return the temporarily occupied territories as soon as possible.

Razumkov on July 29 began a two-day working trip to the Luhansk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine.
