Iraq, Iran to reopen frontier for business interactions


(MENAFN) Eghtesad Online news website confirmed on Monday that Iran and Iraq have reopened the frontiers for trade relations after five months of pause.

Iraq shut its international and provincial frontiers with Iran in March, excluding for the delivery of vital imports to reply to the coronavirus pandemic.

Yahya Al-e Es'haq, the chairman of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce, stated that health safety procedures have been planned and applied for the frontiers with Iraq.
