(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The State of Qatar has provided financial support to the Republic of Ecuador to help tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador H E Cristian Espinosa received a cheque of $150,000 during his meeting with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ecuador Mohamed H E Ali Al Maliki.
The Acting Foreign Minister of the Republic of Ecuador confirmed the depth of friendship ties between Qatar and Ecuador. He said that the Qatari financial contribution will constitute an aid to purchase medical supplies needed to face COVID-19 pandemic
