The health ministry of New Zealand released a statement on Sunday saying that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country is still at 1,206 as no new cases were reported overnight.
The number of active coronavirus cases in the country that are placed in isolation and quarantine facilities is still at 21 for now, no coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals for now.
The statement released by the ministry said that it has been 86 days since the last coronavirus case was infected locally from an unknown source.
Laboratories across the country have finished 1,754 coronavirus tests in the earlier 24 hours, which has pushed the total number of conducted coronavirus tests across New Zealand to 455,677.
