Kuwait- Slovakia registers 3 COVID-19 infections, Hungary 18


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, July 19 (KUNA) -- The number of Coronavirus (Covid-19) infections climbed to 1,979 cases in Slovakia in the last 24 hours, local authorities announced on Sunday.
The rise came as three more infections were registered during the last 24 hours, while 1,530 patients recovered, the Slovak Ministry of Health said in a press statement on its official website.
A total of 240,000 Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests have been conducted in the country, while virus fatalities hit 28 so far, it added.
Meanwhile, the Hungarian Ministry of Health announced on its official website that 18 new infections were recorded in the country, raising its total cases to 4,333.
A total of 307,000 Coronavirus (Covid-19) tests were carried out, while 3,223 cases recovered, with 596 deaths, it stated.
Hungary has lately reopened its borders with Croatia, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Austria after more than two months of lockdown due to the Covid-19. (end)
