Iraq: 95 deaths, 2,022 coronavirus infections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, July 14 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Health Ministry reported Tuesday 94 deaths of COVID-19 and 2,022 infections in the past 24 hours.
In a statement, the ministry said that the recorded number of coronavirus infections throughout the nation including the Kurdistan region reached 81,757 cases as total deaths reached 3,345
Moreover, the capital Baghdad witnessed the highest number of positive cases with 523 infections, while 3,784 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 50,782 patients.
Today's numbers reveal a remarkable rise in daily recovery cases compared to the number of daily infections, as it is the first time in days for Nineve governorate to have no infections. (end)
