Online PR News 13-July-2020 Phoenix, AZ The Delia Foundation is pleased to announce it has received a $15,000 grant from the Isa Foundation , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on healthy nutrition and support for underserved children, Wellness education for all, aid for those affected by natural disasters, and the pursuit of racial equality. This is the second consecutive year that The Delia Foundation has been awarded an ISA Foundation grant. These funds will enable the foundation to improve the nutritional welfare and overall Health of 3,000 individuals in rural Romania, one of the most impoverished areas of the European Union. The organizations' Pathways to Health program will also focus on providing better sources of hand hygiene and increase hygiene awareness for 400+ children who attend schools without indoor bathrooms or running water.
'We are thrilled to receive this grant from the ISA Foundation, which will allow us to expand our current nutritional and wellness program so that we can benefit a larger number of children and adults in the Barlad, Romania community,' said Laura Larkin, The Delia Foundation CEO. 'In 2019, we launched a program to improve the health of children with disabilities who are living in foster homes after having been in institutions or removed from their families due to neglect. This new grant enables us to continue to assist these children while widening our scope.'
The ISA Foundation is operated by global health and wellness company Isagenix International, based in Gilbert, Arizona. Established in 2018, the foundation, which is guided by the principles inspire, share and advocate awards grants through a competitive application process.
