COVID-19 kills more people in Palestine, Oman


(MENAFN) Health authorities in Oman and Palestine reported extra mortalities because of the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday.

In a report, the Omani Health Ministry said four people had died from coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the countrywide fatalities to 248.

A further 1,083 new infections were reported, taking the total cases to 54,697, while the recoveries increased to 35,255 after 1,030 people had recovered from the virus.

In Palestine, the Health Ministry confirmed two more mortalities and 463 cases, taking the total infections to 6,688, including 32 deaths.
