(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, July 9 (KUNA) -- Omani Ministry of Health said on thursday 1,518 new coronavirus infection cases were recorded by the local health authorities during past 24 hours, raising total number of contaminations to 51,725.
Up to 1,068 of the caseload were Omani nationals, whereas 450 cases were of foreigners, Oman News Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
Moreover, total deaths' number stood at 236 and more than 33,021 patients out of the contaminations' tally recuperated and were pronounced cured of the contagion infection. (end)
