Kuwait parliament speaker: will call for extraordinary session Tuesday


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 8 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim announced on Wednesday that he would call for an extraordinary session of the parliament to be held on Tuesday.
The parliament speaker in a statement at Abdullah Al-Salem Hall said he would make the call after consultations with the National Assembly Bureau personnel, the MPs, with coordination with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah as well as the Government.
The interpellation motion that had been presented by MP Riad Al-Adsani to grill Minister of Finance Barrak Al-Sheetan would be included in the upcoming session, he said.
He declared on June 30 receiving the motion and that he would include it in the first coming session of the assembly. (end)
