(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, July 5 (KUNA) -- The Qatari Ministry of Health announced Sunday that five people died from COVID-19, increasing the death toll to 128.
The ministry said in a statement that 616 new virus cases were recorded over the past 24 hours, with a total of 99,799 cases.
In addition, 1,897 people recovered, taking the overall count of recoveries to 92,284 since the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the statement. (end)
