Kuwait reports 813 new COVID-19 cases, 48,672 in total

A statement released by the Kuwaiti health ministry on Friday said that 318 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus, which has increased the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 48,672, as the number of deaths reached 360.

The statement added that 9,036 more patients are currently receiving treatment in the country, as 144 of them are placed in ICUs.

The ministry also said that 886 more patients have recovered from the disease, increasing the total number of recoveries to 39,276.

The country has began the second phase of restoring life to normal on Tuesday, which is going to take place across three weeks.
