(MENAFN- The Peninsula) After the success of its online coaching sessions, M7, a creative startups hub dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship established by Qatar Museums, has announced it will kick off an online group mentorship programme on Monday.
In an Instagram post, M7 said the 'group mentorship development program aims to expose creatives from all disciplines of design to relevant subjects concerning the future of their industry.
Focusing on a wide range of topics, the programme, which will run from July 6 to September 30, will help the next generation of creatives expand their skills and connect with leaders and innovators in their fields, it added.
The series of sessions which will be conducted via Zoom will begin on Monday with 'How to Write a Winning Film Grant Proposal to be held in association with Doha Film Institute (DFI).
The session, which will run from 5pm to 6pm, will be led by Mentors Meriem Mesraoua, DFI Grants Senior Coordinator and Amna Al Binali, DFI Development. They will be joined by filmmakers that received grants such as Hamida Al Kuwari and Amal Al Muftah.
The next session will be 'Understanding Design Thinking to be held on Thursday from 6pm to 8.30pm with Dr. Thomas Modeen, co-founder of Architects Independent, a multi-disciplinary design and research practice, as mentor.

This programme follows the success of M7's biweekly online coaching sessions which launched in April and ran for seven weeks featuring local and international industry leaders who gave their insights on relevant topics such as nurturing creativity and skills during difficult times, making use of technology in the fashion business, testing products in the market, developing a business plan, and promoting products through a programme of marketing and public relations.
Each of the sessions reflected one of M7's founding principles: to inspire, Equip, Validate, Empower, Accelerate, Connect and Promote.
M7 is located in a new five-storey, 29,000sqm facility in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, the mixed-use development that is reviving the city's historic core as a sustainable new live-work neighbourhood.
