(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA CITY, JULY 1 (KUNA) -- Large number of Palestinians demonstrated Wednesday in front of the UN headquarters in Gaza to protest Israel's plan to annex large swathes of the occupied West Bank.
All political parties and factions partook in the event, held under the slogan of "Unified to face the annexation and the American peace plans".
Angry protester hoisted Palestinian flags and banners and chanted slogans emphasizing Palestinian people's right to self-determination and restoring their occupied lands.
The national forces demanded the Palestinian Liberation Organization to freeze the signed agreements with the Israel immediately. They also stressed on the Palestinians refugees rights to return to their home. (end)
