Turk Eximbank obtains 430 Million USD under World Bank assurance


(MENAFN) On Monday June 29 Turkey's trade minister stated that Turk Eximbank is attaining 380 million Euro (USD430 million) from a group of international banks.

Ruhsar Pekcan stated half of the main quantity of the support was promised by the World Bank Group's lending arm, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).

Ruhsar emphasized that the 10 year of financial support was supplied at a "much more affordable" price than a Eurobond issue with a comparable term beneath the present situations.

Pekcan stated that illustrating the assurance in Turkey's economy among the disaster over the global pandemic; the support will release a new loan window for exporters financing operational capital and asset everyday expenditures.
