Qatar- QFA's Disciplinary Committee takes several decisions

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QNA The Disciplinary Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) yesterday held second meeting via video conference in light of the current conditions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which led to stopping sports activity.

The Disciplinary Committee issued many important decisions regarding the Al Sadd, Al Duhail, and Al Rayyan clubs, due to their lack of commitment to the approved protocol for the return of football activity for the 2019- 2020 season for the COVID-19 examination for technical staff and players, and the decisions were made based on reports from the QSL.

The committee imposed financial fines on the players Jung Woo-young, Baghdad Bounedjah, Yousuf Al Balushi, and Marco Fabian from Al Sadd, Youssef Msakni, Luiz Martin, and Medhi Benatia from Al Duhail Club, and Sebastian Soria from Al Rayyan.

The committee also issued a warning for Al Rayyan team manager Omar Al Azani and imposed a financial fine on him due to non-compliance with the protocol on precautionary measures.
