Kuwait- Netherlands: 5 deaths, 70 new coronavirus cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BRUSSELS, June 23 (KUNA) -- Five people were announced dead as a result of COVID-19 complications in the Netherlands Tuesday.
Seventy more people tested positive for the virus, raising the total number of infections to 49,722. The death toll is now at 6,095.
These figure were released by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment today, which added that three new hospital admissions for patients with virus were also reported.
Meanwhile, Norway announced the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased to 8,751 after six new cases were reported yesterday.
These figures are according to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, which also indicated that no deaths from the virus were reported, leaving the toll at 248. (end)
